"In this story, the characters go through every stage of grief, yet they still have each other. This story was so beautiful, but the pain these two experienced was so tragic, their lives affected by the same root cause. The memories and pain lead to immense passion and wanting. These characters are so beautifully broken, but they kept fighting. They battled their grief. They come to understand loss, pain, and everlasting love. They find comfort in one another and their shared trauma. 10/10 read. "
"It’s a good book. I just thought we would get his point of view of what happened when hope was kidnapped and that it would cover parts we didn’t see in the first book. It’s just hopeless but from his pov. This book wasn’t really necessary but I really liked seeing things from his pov and how he was obsessed with her. "
"Second book in the Hopeless series. Good, not just a total “redo” of the first book from Holder’s perspective. Actually some new insights. "

"*SPOILERS* LOVED LOVED LOVED. I love how this is from Holders perspective. I felt like the events were repetitive for the fact I had read the first one literally not long ago (I feel like if there had been a gap I wouldn’t have felt the need to skim read the parts I knew) but god…LOVE. That’s all I can say. Seeing Hope/Sky through Deans eyes is everything. I feel like this had other significant moments in their relationship we (as readers) didn’t know based off the first book. Also i loved getting aspects of Daniel in this book. I think it humanized Dean even more and made him more vulnerable. And Les….the letter. Oh god the letter, it was the saddest thing ever. I know Les and his mom knew how broken up he was about feeling like he lost hope…but wouldn’t you tell him? Wouldn’t you want to relieve that pain he would always feel? Maybe I don’t know a thing about relieving someone’s pain and maybe this story wouldn’t have been as good if it started their relationship that early. Or maybe, that’s what makes this book perfect? It makes you think about every alternative situation and yet you still find yourself consumed within the book and characters. "
"Oh my goodness! So good! Reading about Hope and Holder is easy!!"
