"While an enjoyable read, I'm not the intended audience, and I can respect that. If I was younger and not as far into my journey, I would likely enjoy it more."

"Short book. Short listen. Only took about an hour. Alok is important to me as a trans femme bc they embody the feminine energy I need to tap into sometimes and so they mean a lot to me and I think their writing is going to be up there with the other queer writers that have made a huge impact on American history! I loved every moment of this book although it is kinda them preaching to the choir. But really good!"

"Loving that this book calls out the issues society has with claiming it's okay to be yourself until you being you doesn't fit their ideals. A nice short read that allows you to see what the non-binary and gender non-conforming communities experience. And hopefully helps others realize that we are all people and should be treated as such."
