"I listened to this book on audio. A Slow intriguing burn. I can’t wrap around how bizarre this book was, i feel this book was not summarized correctly there was so much more happening. Although very slow, there were so many parts to the past and present bounding together it jus kept me enthralled. The ending was creepy all the while oddly heartfelt. I highly recommend listening or reading this book in the dark to help with the effects I wish I had!"
"This book is the epitome of gothic horror. The book is a slow burn and centers around two of my favorite elements of story telling. The haunted house is just as much a character as the dysfunctional family. In the end mobsters are real and we would do anything to be with some of them. Great read! "
"Lots of creep factor in this book. Highly recommend this one because of female protagonist and supporting cast. "
