"I thought it would be a funny, lighthearted read, but it wasn't. Finlay is a divorced author with bills piling up and a new manuscript (that hasn't been started) overdue. She is worried about her ex gaining some custody of her children due to her circumstances. She is overheard having a conversation with her agent that lead the listener to believe she was a killer for hire. Curiosity and desperation send her to a night club to learn more about her "target". Suddenly she is in over her head. I might read the next book in the series, if I can't find anything end to read. "

"This was a pretty fun read it definitely gave the vibe of a movie or a show like this book is ment to be one of those It gave the vibes of Good girls, Dead to me and A little bit of criminal minds the book didn't take long for the action to start I liked our main character but honestly I might have liked the nanny/friend way better lol Finley would have been a perfect main character if she didn't have a soft spot for her cheating ex husband like she felt bad for him at the most random times I'm like girl he literally cheated on you and is trying to take your kids away from you like?!? This story wasn’t so much of a murder mystery thriller I mean it had murder but for the most part it was dark humor I had a lot of fun reading this one it was a good time and had some good laughs Also the little Clift hanger at the end love!! "

"I enjoyed this. It’s more of a light hearted mystery and not psychological thriller. I found myself guessing how they’d get out of this mess and everyone’s connections. To me, it’s not a typical cut and dry mystery. I liked the layers to it. This did end on a cliffhanger and now i need to read the next one. "
