"While this novel follows the life of a boy growing into adulthood alongside a group of disgusting and vile men, it’s true intent is to show an insight to the life of a victim of a truly evil force that goes by the name of The Judge. Some say there is a balance between good and bad, however this book does not follow the idea of using a scale. I give fair warning to anyone looking to read this story, this is a tale of how dark manhood can be."
"1. Black Jackson. 2. Is a toss up between the ex priest and the kid. "

"It's a challenging read. There are no quotation marks. Trying to decipher dialogue from narration is difficult. I was not prepared for the casual racism throughout the book, so be aware of that before you read it. Unlike any book I've ever encountered. Every character is despicable in their own way, so don't expect to root for any protagonists."
