The dead plot against the living, the darkness closes in on Keyhouse, and a woman is shattered beyond repair, in the third storyline of the Eisner-nominated series. Dodge continues his relentless quest to find the key to the black door, and raises an army of shadows to wipe out anyone who might get in his way. Surrounded and outnumbered, the Locke children find themselves fighting a desperate battle, all alone, in a world where the night itself has become their enemy.

"I think the creep factor is high on this one, the show based of this comic is also amazing. The art might not be to everyone's standards or taste tho ngl"

"At the beginning i was really confused about what was going on. It is one of those stories that starts after something big happened and you have to continue reading to find out what happened. Plus it keeps on going back and forth between before and present day. Also it switches POV a few times.

The art style i don’t care about that much. I don’t like the shading and a few characters are supposed to be teenagers but they look like adults.

One i got an understanding of what was going on the plot of decent. I didn’t care about the characters though. They all had their own separate personalities but they didn’t have anything that i can get attached to."

"Fun to read after watching Season 1 of the show. Plot stuck pretty close to the source material. I thoroughly enjoyed this and finished it in about half an hour."

"This is book one in the series. Terrifying and gory, but also magical and fun at times. The end made me cry A LOT! If you want your heart torn out (maybe literally), this is the book for you. "

"The story of this whole series is wonderful "

"This was a great intro into a series. I have to admit to watching two episodes first, so I was a little surprised at the representations of Body and Rendell. But they are still great and I ended up loving them."

"With all due respect to the artist. I found this to be horribly ugly art. The story however is intriguing and I'm anxious to read more of it."
