"Officially, I would rate this book 3.5/5⭐️. The author does a great job at writing moments of suspense to the point I could feel my palms sweat! Overall, I think there are really strong, good points and really low points of the book. One of my disappointments, is in regard to the main character’s arc throughout the book, which seemed lacking up to the final resolution. Ultimately, deserves a read if you’re interested in detective-like story in space, cultural-identity, and hope. "

"3.5
This story had me hooked pretty fast. The concept was so intriguing and I couldn’t wait to read it. Although I felt the book read quickly, the jumping back and forth in time every other chapter made things confusing at times. The story would start to pick up and get intense and then the momentum would just halt completely with a time change.
Despite this, I had lots fun reading it."

"Loved this one. I felt very close with Asuka through the whole story. I would like a second one to know what Planet X is like or if they ever made it."
