 My brother got away with everything growing up, so I am used to it. 34 years old and he still gets away with stuff he shouldn’t.

 At first I really liked her and then I thought she was super annoying. I stopped watching around season 5

 I loved this show the first time I watched it. Second time around I wanted to wring Lorelei’s neck lol!

 I thought Rory cool when I first watched, then as the show progressed I started to hate her so much. She is painfully annoying to me.

 To me Rory truly was never rlly a good character both her and Lorelei are toxic and most of the choices/actions they made were terrible and would rlly annoy me lol

 I think it got to real. People were complaining she was to perfect so they redid it 😭apparently it turned her character a full 180 but like rings true to real life honestly xD so yeah her character got annoying but kinda relatable in the sense of f ups in relationships.

 I dont agree she does so many good things in her life… until the movie ruined it

 You are definitely not the only one. I think that the reason why she’s so self centered is because she was always thought of as the golden child. She was always told that she was perfect and smart and that she could do no wrong. Naturally this opinion rubbed off on her and she made some really poor decisions.

 I think the show does a good job of showing her how the world can be. She didn't get the job that she wanted out of college and had to work really hard to progress. She had relatable dating problems growing up. She has a different family dynamic that definitely let's her have the silver spoon treatment, but at the end of the day I belive the way that Lorelia and Rory handle themselves is well written . They rise above the typical issues of a single mom household and overcome manny struggles. I dont think it is fair to say they dislike Rorys character as it is basically a coming of age for her, and how many of us were not cringy throughout teenage years and college? I know I made COUNTLESS mistakes myself.
