Been wanting to read The Maidens but I'm wondering if it's gripping enough, is it good? Also, are there any trigger warnings?

julie beers I’m sure this is an unpopular opinion, but I hated it- couldn’t get past the first few chapters. It was unbelievably boring! Maybe I should have given it more of a chance, but I like a book that grabs me right away and this was not it.
