Topic: Books
So the only Stephen king I’ve read is the eyes of the dragon. I’ve liked other mystery/thriller books before. Would I like Billy summers or the institute? I found them each for $1.99 at a thrift store and am considering buying them. Look at what books it says I’ve read and tell me if I’d like them. I’ve many mysteries and thrillers before and seen some shows like that. Please answer ASAP!

Wyatt Applegarth I rated the Institute as 4 stars. This book is a little slow to get going but as it progress it gets better and better, it's nowhere near 5 stars though. Luke is a really good character. All the things he goes through in the Institute keeps you interested. I love the end of this book, it was a great way to send the characters off.

Rosario Mullen So literally the only king book you read is his children's book? I personally like his anthologies, I loved skeleton crew, Four past midnight, nightmares and dreamscapes. If you want a different flavor,you can always read the Bachman books. I strongly recommend "The Running Man". Completely different from the movie. I also recommend Under the dome, The Shining and Firestarter

Julz Thanks so much! I’m looking to read more of his books since I’m older now. I was 15 when I read his children’s book. I haven’t read any of his since and am now a senior in high school and want to read more of his books.

Sarah Ortinau You do realize that every Stephen King book there is explicit sexual acts that are described? Cugo, Billy Summer, and even IT, all have sex in them….like how do you not know this?

Diana @sarah_ortinau is right!! Looking at your books and knowing Stephen King books, which don't me wrong are good, but they are very different from your list. Tastes change which is great but I'm not sure it'll be what you're expecting....🤷♀️! Good luck either way!

Julz Thanks so much! My dad said I would love the institute, fairytale, and firestarter and I trust him and will try them. Tastes change and hopefully I will like them. Thanks for the concern.
