Topic: The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power
Trailers for season 2 are out. Story and character-wise, it looks as terrible and boring as the 1st season. The weird thing for me, is how some things look really good and others look like absolute garbage. A few things I am not on board with. There is a Balrog. It feels like a reach and like it's trying to steal the Fellowships thunder. They also tried to include Tom Bombadil. But, just like every other character, they absolutely botched it.

Road Master Ya know, if they would hire somebody who had even read the stories, that would be a vast improvement.

No One You Know I think we need to watch it somehow, without comparing it to the movies. This is what I tried to do. It's entertaining but needed better writers for season one. I will have to see all of season two, before I decide what I think. But that's just me.

Road Master I tried season 1. I only managed to get 2-3 episodes in. It was boring. The writing was terrible. The characters were nothing like... themselves. I especially didn't like how the "writers" (heavy on the quotations here) just completely ignored the lore. It was just an absolute travesty all around.
