Lucas Films needs to take another stab at a Star Wars holiday special. Here's my pitch. Set just before The Mandalorian, Luke has become jaded, reclusive, and critical following the failure of the New Republic (and its people) to eliminate the remnants of the Galactic Empire. He is visited by three Force ghosts (Yoda, Ben, and Anakin) who teach him the true meaning of Life Day.

I love independent stories. Does anybody know any good YouTube channels that have independent fantasy or sci-fi movies or series?

Mortal Kombat 2 is set to release in October 2025, with a number of new cast members rounding out the roster of the Mortal Kombat tournament. Of note, Karl Urban is potentially joining the cast as Johnny Cage.

Looks like the #fantasylandviewingclub is "do[ing] the Time Warp again," or for the first time, in my case, since I've never seen The Rocky Horror Picture Show. This may ACTUALLY be a science fiction movie, but having never seen the movie, I can't press it, since there might be a ghost, or something. It's time to discuss our #fantasylandviewingclub selection, Legend! It took me longer than I'd intended to watch this due to a number of complications, but here we are. What did you think of this high fantasy film?

Trailers for season 2 are out. Story and character-wise, it looks as terrible and boring as the 1st season. The weird thing for me, is how some things look really good and others look like absolute garbage. A few things I am not on board with. There is a Balrog. It feels like a reach and like it's trying to steal the Fellowships thunder. They also tried to include Tom Bombadil. But, just like every other character, they absolutely botched it.

So I really have no idea what's happening here. But... I dig it. I'm in.

My review of Inside Out 2 is now live! The character limit got in the way, but I'd like to add to it that I liked how Anxiety's behavior was rooted in anxiety, rather than anything else. And I liked how anxiety (the emotion) was addressed as a whole.
