"This incredibly edgy and beautifully animated series based on the lore of popular video games is incredibly addictive. I have watched every episode, and I am amazed at the incredible eye-popping visuals and the deep storylines. Even though the length of the episodes were between 9 minutes and 20 minutes, each story has rich meaning and the characters are fleshed out as much as possible in that short period of time. I would give this series five stars except that some of the episodes are extremely bleak and incredibly sad. Of course I am saying that as someone who has not played many of the video games that are represented here. Of the few that I have played, the episodes which take place in their worlds are a fantastic sight to behold. Many stories are a little bit too edgy even for me, but I certainly can bow down to the refreshing boldness of these writers telling tales that aren't necessarily "happily ever after.""

"This is a beautifully rendered 15 episode series based on individual video games. You don't need to know the video games (I didn't) to appreciate and enjoy this, absolutely mind blowing digital animation. I would most definitely watch a full length feature on just about any one of these separate episodes. But my favorites were Dungeons & Dragons, Warhammer 40,000, and Armored Core (featuring Keanu Reeves). The digital renderings are so realistic and lifelike, down to individual follicles of facial hair, and glistening beads of sweat... Truly awe inspiring. I can't imagine the time and talent it took to create even a single frame of this beautiful digital art. Honorable Mentions goes to episode 2: Sifu, episode 3: New World, episode 13: Concord, and episode 15: Playtime. Even the episodes that I didn't care for were still incredible to behold. Highly recommended for any fan of sci-fi/fantasy. 9.5/10 "
