Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Croft

"This animated action adventure series is very well done. It certainly reminds me of the early Lara Croft video games, because they are full of suspense, archeology and historical background to Lara's adventures. There is already a second season coming, which is very clear from the last episode of the first season, which ends on a cliffhanger. I enjoyed the story arc, although sometimes the evil characters were a little overdone. But, if you played the early video games, there is a lot of absurd history layered story telling that is overdone too. Just take the story as it is revealed, and enjoy it. The voice acting is very good, and the characters are great. Haley Atwell of the MCU plays Lara and Richard Armitage plays an intense character that runs the entire story arc of season one. Enjoy it, and go with the flow. There will be a second season."
