"There’s a 🍄#fungus among us🙀 … and nowhere, it seems, is safe… Episode 1 of this new #post_apocalyptic series on #HBO is based on a video game, & it’ll grab you with some thrillingly chaotic scenes🎬 So, buckle up…it’s gonna be a bumpy ride!🚙🧟♂️🔫🩸☠️😱
▪️And watch out for that parasitic mind-controlling fungus! 🧠 it might turn you into a brain-dead, flesh-ripping fiend!🧟♀️ #Zombie #thriller
▪️Full disclosure: I’m not a gamer & have never played “The Last of Us” — I just happened to catch an enticing article about this #TVseries & decided to check it out — The last half of the pilot is less #exciting than the first, but that, of course, probably has to do with the hard work of setting up the rest of the series.
▪️P.S. GOOGLE this phrase: “cordyceps controlling ant brain” — and if you wanna learn some really cool facts about fungi, I highly suggest reading a book called ENTANGLED LIFE by Merlin Sheldrake or check out a very cool documentary called FANTASTIC FUNGI on NETFLIX."
"The Last of Us, episode 3: This is peak television. What we have here is one of the most gut wrenching and masterfully crafted episodes ever brought to screen. Absolutely fvcking phenomenal with a career best performance from Nick Offerman. I was already tearing up, but then that needle drop on Max Richter's "On the Nature of Daylight"!!! — an emotional kick to the teeth that just pushed me right over the fvcking edge. Holy sh¡t this will stick with me."
"I wanted to finish watching the first season of this show before I commented on it, even though I knew that I loved it before I finished watching the first episode. Never played the game, but you don't need to, to appreciate anything about this show. Everyone is giving high marks to Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey, and rightfully so. But I have a newfound respect for Nick Offerman in his role as Bill. He did a phenomenal job and I was sad to see him go. This is, without a doubt, one of my newest favorite series, that I'm sure will be around for quite a while. Can't wait to see where they take it. 9/10"
"I watch episode one and two from season one episode one was OK, but it got better. Can’t wait until Sunday four episode three"

"This show is amazing and definitely started off with a bang. I am not familiar with the game but my son is getting me through. Loved the nod to my home Austin, TX and I worship Pedro Pascal. But fungus and in people are one of my worst nightmares! This show is going to be tricky to get through but I intend to do it!!!"
