"disappointing. i’m enraptured in the world of cyberpunk: 2077, but this series was incredibly bland. david martinez is a gary stu, self insert, can-do-no-wrong type of character. lucy, though having an interesting backstory and character design, felt very 2-d. the color scheme was very beautiful, i will admit. i do like that the anime connects to the video game, but that’s about as far as it goes."
