"I’ve described myself as a nerd. But if you want to know if someone is a true nerd? Ask them if they ever saw an episode of Critical Role prior to 2018. There’s an exception; they might just be a fan of the ever enchanting Ashley Johnson. But even if you don’t know the super cool backstory, this is still absolutely amazing. I can’t believe no one ever told me about this! The animation, a quasi-anime style, is the best. These lovable/adorable/bad ass characters doing some of the most exciting action sequences. I jumped out of my chair twice during S1E11. It’s the perfect episode of tv. All this, and I just finished season one. I’m so excited!"

"I actually loved this! the episodes are very short, and there's about 24 in the whole show. I really enjoy raunchy adult animation lol, so this was up my alley - I'm also a huge fan of fantasy and the medieval era, so this was a dream for me. Stephanie Beatriz has a role in it (I can't remember which character she is), so that's really cool, too! there's gore during fight scenes, but they're not super detailed. overall, really enjoyed this! it took me a couple weeks to finish it."
