Topic: Screenplay
What classic novel do you think would make a great anime, either movie or show? Personally, I think “The Outsiders” would work well; there’s already stuff like Windbreaker and Tokyo Revengers that focus on young gangs, so think it would translate well to anime.

Brandon Reed A Sherlock Holmes anime could do very well. Just do a 1:1 set in the late Victorian/early Edwardian age.

Heather I think The Talented Mr Ripley would be interesting. I've never seen the movie so I'm only thinking about it from reading it years ago. But having a messed up man as the mc slowly morphing his life to become like his colleagues by infiltrating their lives would be an exciting psychological crime anime. Also if you haven't seen or read them Crows and Gang King have similarities to the delinquent stories that you mentioned. (I also think the Outsiders would do well)
