What classic novel do you think would make a great anime, either movie or show? Personally, I think “The Outsiders” would work well; there’s already stuff like Windbreaker and Tokyo Revengers that focus on young gangs, so think it would translate well to anime.

Beloved tearjerker A Silent Voice: The Movie returns to theaters in the USA December 15th and 16th! Dubbed and subtitled showings will both be available.

Does anyone know why the first three seasons of the original Tenchi Muyo series (AKA Tenchi Muyo! Ryo-Ohki) are so hard to find? A single season seems to be 60 dollars used online, and no one's streaming them through subscription or purchase. In my experience, that usually occurs when rights are shared among parties who can't or won't collaborate, but I can't find anything about that.

So I will preface this by saying, I JUST heard about this. It was from a YouTube video. I have not confirmed or researched any of this yet. There is a man, who apparently is a voice actor for Crunchyroll, making some interesting allegations against them. He posted on Twitter that nothing sent to him from fans in the past 5 years has reached him due to "Crunchyroll" opening packages sent to him, throwing away letters, and giving the contents to Crunchyroll employees. His name is David Wald.

The original Ranma 1/2 won the tiebreaker coin toss for #otakuclub! Please join me in watching the first season of this long-running, legendary comedy, and we'll discuss at a later date. Please be warned that the original version of this show does include female (and 1/2 female) partial nudity, although, if I remember correctly, it's used for comedic effect (accidental bathroom overcrowding and things like that). The series premiere of what I'm calling the shonen event of the season, Dragon Ball DAIMA, is on Hulu and Crunchyroll! Have you had a chance to check it out? What are your thoughts?

Lately I’ve been thinking a lot about Chainsaw Man and I’ve got nobody to talk with about it. I legitimately think it’s the best anime to come out in the last five years or so. It’s perfectly-paced, has great characters, the animation is just 🤌🤌🤌, the EDs are all great, the OP is fantastic (love all the movie references), and they made changes from the manga that actually improved the experience. I just really love this show.
