Brandon ReedIf you like sports dramedies, then this is an excellent option.
Brandon ReedTwo things about this movie. 1.) It does what many anime (and Japanese stories in general) do by asking you to accept a previously antagonistic character joining the main cast's side with little to no explanation. 2.) Much of the imagery is Shinto in origin, so everything's symbolic meaning might not be immediately obvious if you're not familiar with the forms of the religion. There's a fair bit in this movie that I'm sure I'm not totally getting the significance of.

TyroneNow this is a very long series so it is a big investment but I give the same recommendation I give to everyone give it at least 45 episodes and if you aren't hooked by then this one might not be for you. Hope some of my recommendations help!
