"I finished watching Toilet-Bound Hanako-kun a few days ago. It suffers from the same ailment that a lot of anime adapted from manga have. The first arc of the manga is spent introducing characters, building up villains, hinting at a larger plot... And the anime never makes it past that first arc. The series ended just a few episodes after I started feeling really invested. If you don't mind being left hanging, it's got competent humor and supernatural action, with flawed but likeable characters."
