"Kind of too much on the feminist side but the ending gears away from that. Made it worth watching. Netflix has a pattern of trying to be as liberal as possible even when it doesnt make any sense. This one they set it up for it and i expected them to go hard down that road, yet Tewksbury kept them good. In creating their relationship they shocked me. Yes you can see the hints towards it but Netflix just makes me think theyll force women empowerment by not giving her a love interest yet they did. And i loved it. It worked. Predictable story, but those I watched with were shocked so maybe normal in that area. I enjoyed the fresh takes on the characters. Sherlock had heart and wasnt so cold like he was with Benedict Cumberbatch. Yet it worked. I believed he was sherlock at every turn and every moment he was in was true gold. I loved his relationship and pride towards Enola. It just felt good and natural. The sequel kind of dashed that in a tad but kept it somewhat there. I'll watch this one again for sure."
