It is the Taisho Period in Japan. Tanjiro, a kindhearted boy who sells charcoal for a living, finds his family slaughtered by a demon. To make matters worse, his younger sister Nezuko, the sole survivor, has been transformed into a demon herself. Though devastated by this grim reality, Tanjiro resolves to become a “demon slayer” so that he can turn his sister back into a human, and kill the demon that massacred his family.

"Tanjiro is the saving grace of this show. Without him this show/manga wouldn’t have the reception it has. There is no cynicism from his heroics which is a breath of fresh air. He even humanizes a few of the demons he’s forced to kill. Also the way his family traditions tie into his growth is a Masta P 👌🏿👌🏿👌🏿. Just wait until a certain scene is animated…"

"Time to rereview as much as I liked demon slayer their is a lot that ruins it. The characters well very cool sometimes are also annoying as hell. I hate the “funny” parts when they just yell hella loud. Basically I hate when they try to be funny. The animation is so smooth. I love how well the fight scenes play out. The story isn’t bad just so generic that it hurts."
