White Men Can't Jump

"Why does the remake or new version of this movie currently have more stars?? 🤷‍♀️🤔🧐 The characters in this #OG film are sooo much more charming, imo… This movie has a classic 90’s feel…. You remember the 90’s, right?? … Michael Jordan’s heyday 🙌🏽🏀🐐 Wesley Snipes & Woody Harrelson are two street-ball hustlers & are so #endearing in this, and the side-characters are fun-loving, too (Kadeem Hardison & others), & especially the lovely, cute, petite, & spicy #RosiePerez…What a doll, with that cute, high-pitched, squeaky little voice & Puerto Rican accent — honestly one of my favorite characters; when her boyfriend “Billy” (Harrelson) sings that love-song to her in the hopes of winning her back, and she responds, “Let’s screw!” 😂 … And her stint on Jeopardy😆🤣 This original version has a waaaaay better script than the 2023 remake, & it just feels so much “warmer” — the set & the costumes (the colorful street wear), the camaraderie, the banter (the “trash talk” & jokes), the basketball moves on the court accompanied by the fun hip-hop-soul music 🎶 🏀 I always wanted to be right there on that set with all those fun, loveable characters…. The 2023 version, not so much."
