"Working my way through Ryan Gosling’s filmography. This was a good ol’ twisty turny political thriller. Clooney’s writing and directing is not as strong as other directors that have explored similar themes of backstabbing and betrayal but it’s still a fun movie with some twists that genuinely surprised me."
