"This movie is about a man who loves a boy who loves the movies, and how the man find a way to tell the boy that he loves him - all wholesome and clean. Light, entertaining, and superb in its own way. Moves me every time I watch it."

"No matter how many times I watch this perfect film, I'm as emotional as the first time. The acting, characters, cinematography and the music are simply stunning. I love it so much, the layering of the love stories is so well done you become fully invested. His mum mourning his papa, Alfredo's love of the cinema & little Toto, Toto falling in love. I imagine if you go to a small town in Sicily you'll find people just like this. If I meet anyone who hates this film, then I know to avoid them."
"I loved this movie so much. I’m personally someone who has a hard time emotionally connecting to movies like this but this movie made me teary eyed at the end. The best way to describe this movie is to describe it as life not about life the movie is life. It touches on feelings of nostalgia and growing up. The feeling of moving on. You fall in love not just with the characters but with the town and the cinema. Watching this gave me such a warm fuzzy feeling and I’ll forever remember it."
"One of the best films about the love of cinema. This is must see for all the cinephiles. "
