(I really DO appreciate his work, even though some films of his are misses — but this one was a HIT) THE NORMAL HEART — This movie starts out so #fun with Sylvester’s iconic song 🎶 “You Make Me Feel” 🎶 … but you know it’s gonna turn #sad & #sobering & punch you in the gut with #reality … which it does, QUICKLY, but it’s an #amazing & #touching movie with stellar #performances across the board by the entire cast… Julia Roberts, Mark Ruffalo, Jim Parsons, Matt Bomer, Taylor Kitsch…."

It’s based on the play by Larry Kramer (it’s rumored this is his true life story). It is absolutely incredible and a very important look into the early stages of the AIDS crisis.
