"I'm not sure why people are so hard on this movie. It's fun, engages the audience, has some good songs and the story is entertaining for both kids and adults. My daughters eyes lit up whenever they asked her to help Elmo. We dove in and made it a family event; taking part, laughing/dancing/cheering as a family. A great first movie for kids not being able to sit still for 60+ min"
