"This was a thrift store dvd find. It being based on a novel by Frances Hodgson Burnett (The Secret Garden, The Littlest Princess) I was excited but reminded myself that her novels of that time compared to this time period can be simple and sweet but interpreted as somewhat boring by today's standards. I really enjoyed it. I recognized some actors and enjoyed seeing them in this performance. I really enjoyed the romance story of this movie. The suspense and danger of this movie was slow and perhaps a little boring to some but I was on the edge of my seat....or rather stayed up late not going to bed till I found out. I stand by what I said about enjoying the love story. It was beautiful. "
"Boring, poor plot. "
