"stuck this on tonight, and it definitely wasn't what i was expecting. i figured it'd be something along the lines of saving face- not a black and white film with some very cringy acting and a script that reads like any lgbtq tumblr/tiktok discourse feed. i would be very curious to know if any of these characters would still identify as cis in the 2020's. i think the movie should have followed the poc characters, they were the most interesting and mature. final verdict: thinky and only ok."
