"A decent 3rd movie that entertains you while it makes a mess hard to clean up."

"The awesome effects, the great fight scenes, the cool power scenes- they're there. They're entertaining. But this movie acts more as something that sets up the next movies- it is so greatly disappointing and depressing to superhero fans that it basically guarantees you'll be back to watch the next one. Rogue, Jean, Mystique, Magneto... all of our favorite heroes are either killed, lose their powers, or completely overlooked by this movie. For a 3rd movie, I expected a little more love to the fans. But, as much as it pains me to say, watching this will make The Wolverine and many of the follow up X-Men movies make much more sense. So, try to watch this with an open mind and remember- no one in the Marvel universe stays dead forever. "

"X-Men: The Last Stand (2006) is the third film in the X-Men franchise, centered around a critical turning point for mutants and humanity. The story follows the discovery of a "cure" for mutation, allowing mutants to become human if they choose. This revelation creates a divide among mutants: some, like Rogue, consider giving up their powers to fit in with society, while others, led by Magneto, see it as an existential threat and rally against humans, fearing the cure will be used to eradicate mutant kind.
Meanwhile, Jean Grey, who was thought to be dead, returns as the powerful and unstable Phoenix, posing a danger to both sides. Professor Xavier and the X-Men must stop Magneto's rising army and confront Jean's destructive power. The film explores themes of identity, choice, and the struggle for acceptance, culminating in a climactic battle that will determine the future of mutants and humans alike."
