"I loved this musical as a kid. I still do even though I know the originating story's author did not. But, this is Julie Andrew's magic! Recommended ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐"

"A wonderful movie. Not only was everything beautifully shot, the songs were all mostly pretty good as well. The choreography was better than a lot of modern musicals I've seen. What enthralled me the most however, was the special effects they used! As someone who knows a lot about CGI and practical effects, this had me guessing a few times on how they pulled off some things and I'm always so happy to see that. An easy recommendation. "

"The classic fantasy musical featuring Julie Andrews as a magical nanny. Includes unforgettable songs and music by the Sherman brothers. Andrews and costar Dick Van Dyke give charming and iconic performances. A supremely enjoyable film about balancing work- and family-life, and about understanding what our family members need and are going through. It's practically perfect in every way. "

"This is the first movie I ever saw in a movie theater. It was my first fan girl experience. I had all the Mary Poppins merchandise."

"This was the movie I would watch when home sick from school in the 80’s. It became one of my oldest daughter’s “comfort movies” as well. Such a wonderful classic. "
