" I wanted to like it but there’s nothing really fresh about it. Every Disney Princess movie since 2010. Has been about them not needing to be rescued by a man.
Rachel Zegler got hate because she honestly said exactly what the movie is like. There’s no Prince and it is barely faithful to the movie it is based on.
Disney picked the wrong animated film to not be faithful to and show some respect to. When Snow White and the Seven Dwarves put Disney animated films on the map.
They just copied and pasted what they thought would work with today’s audiences. So they might as well not even have made it at all. Since not like Snow White and the Huntsman or Mirror Mirror don’t exist.
The whole movie being about Snow White staying as kind as her parents wanted. Also felt like it was straight from the live action Cinderella but done better in that."

"This was enjoyable. I loved the colors and costumes. The CGI was well done. The lead as Snow White had a strong voice. The enchanted forest was nicely done. The last scene of the evil queen's transition was reminiscent of some creature from Game of Thrones. Some of the characters' decisions were dumb but so were they in the original (which I never rewatch). I'll rewatch it when it comes out on TV. Bonus points for Whistle While You Twerk (Work) being the song in their hearts 😆."

"As much as I disliked the press tour (regardless of who was cast!), I loved this movie. It was very very good, the music was fantastic, and they actually stuck to the plot!"

"Went for Gal, I stayed for Gal. I loved Gal. But this was better than I thought it was going to be. Also, it kinda felt like the plot of Cinderella (2017) being reused to fit the story of Snow White. Even the princess looked like Kit (kinda). Another saving grace for this movie was the Mirror, THAT is exactly what I remember it looking like and the dark forest was perfect, the trees <3<3"

"It was ok but gal was horrible.. Would of been better if they hired a better actress for the evil Queen."

"I went into this movie expecting a stinky bin of garbage. DEI stitched together in an attempt to make a movie that checked all of the boxes but…I was wrong.
What I got instead was a strong, colourful movie packed with incredible talent. Zegler and Gadot were fantastic. I think Disney changed just enough to modernize this movie and allow Snow White to drop the damsel in distress role for a strong, powerful woman.
I know that many will hate this movie, likely without even giving it a shot, and that’s an injustice because it’s worth watching.
I suspect we’ll see it on streaming sooner than later and I hope more will give it a chance then."

"It’s entertaining for what it is. It’s definitely not a copy and paste of the original that’s for sure 😂. The songs were pretty good. Rachel Zegler always delivers with her voice. I think that Disney was sending a lot of messages to the audience. Not only because they casted a minority for the lead role but also the fact that they just completely wrote off the prince to show how she can be her own hero. I think that Disney should stop making live actions if this is how they’re going to do them. "

"Disney really nailed it with this one, keeping the heart of the beloved fairy tale and the original intact while touchingly updating for today's world. Lovely."
