Hendrik PapeI went into this movie expecting a stinky bin of garbage. DEI stitched together in an attempt to make a movie that checked all of the boxes but…I was wrong. What I got instead was a strong, colourful movie packed with incredible talent. Zegler and Gadot were fantastic. I think Disney changed just enough to modernize this movie and allow Snow White to drop the damsel in distress role for a strong, powerful woman. I know that many will hate this movie, likely without even giving it a shot, and that’s an injustice because it’s worth watching. I suspect we’ll see it on streaming sooner than later and I hope more will give it a chance then.

Hendrik PapeI was pleasantly surprised by this one. So many modern day comedies feel the need to make their characters brainless and dumb but this new Ted Danson series had some serious heart! I’ve been a Danson fan since the Cheers days and this is probably one of my favourite of his roles since! Hope this one returns for a second season!

Hendrik PapeI love Jeff Daniels in almost everything he stars in. “A Man In Full” is a bit of a darker series but I enjoyed every minute of it.

Hendrik PapeBizarre casting to see both Kevin James & Joel McHale, usually known for comedy, in this morbid action film. But both were great in their different roles. If Home Alone would get an R rating this would be it. No shortage of gore either so if you have a weak stomach maybe skip this series. On to the next one…
