"Charlie Day wrote and directed this film. Two stars for all the great actors acting horribly. I love It’s Always Sunny but Fool’s Paradise seemed to be Day’s chance to get as far away from that type of comedy as possible. "

"When the movie started, it wasn’t anything interesting but I was amused enough to keep going. And I’m a fan of Charlie. But honestly by the 3/4 mark I had mentally checked out and kept wondering how long this movie even was(it’s not even 2 hours it just felt excruciatingly long). I like the cast but this one wasn’t for me. "

"Unpopular opinion but I really enjoyed this movie. I think Charlie Day was brilliant (both in front of the camera and behind it) and I loved that he was silent for most of the film in Charlie Chaplin /Buster Keaton style . I also liked Kim Jeong and all of the cameos . It was a fun watch and different from most modern films. I actually don’t feel as if this movie is pointless as some reviews have said but rather has a lot of heart and depth behind the story and the silliness. I also like that it pokes fun at the ridiculousness of Hollywood! "

"Idk what people are talking about. Not only is this movie gorgeous and well-acted but it has a comedic and emotional center that it doesn’t deviate from and it culminates in one of the most unexpected and refreshing heartwarming endings I’ve ever seen. "
