But it’s a lot of symbolism and arcs you have to pay attention to with complex characters.The acting from Olivia Colman and Dakota Johnson was exceptional. Though it’s not the psychological drama for everyone."

However, all the hype and expectations that I had for this movie all fell flat sadly. The lead character and her younger self seem so different at first, but the film slowly reveals how truly we are a continuum of ourselves, and how mature women carry so much of our younger, vibrant, uncompromising selves within a more muted facade of a world-wearied body. The film is beautifully adapted & directed."
