"I’m breaking my rule of not liking movies that kill dogs, but in this case that was really the whole point. That aside, this movie is well done and enjoyable. "

"It was a good movie, not funny in the slightest, but good."

"Love this movie. Can we also talk about how Freeform again has a **** list for Halloween ? The same movies on repeat for 31 days. No old animated films or anything the different. The made the typical choice of movies like always . They’re also not playing any Addams family 😡 "

"An incredible movie that could have never been made with today's standards. A lot of people are saying that this movie is great despite its lack of comedy, but I disagree. Frankenweenie garners a certain type of dark humor that not everyone favors. I found myself laughing and nearly crying at certain scenes. Frankenweenie feels like that one cult classic that should have been much bigger, as do a lot of Tim Burton's movies. This movie is very heartwarming and funny, and I am glad that I finally got to watch it after years of procrastination even after entering adulthood. A great family movie that somehow created PG-rated body horror. If you are against harm against pets, I do not recommend you watch this movie since it is a central topic."

"I’m not a huge burton fan but I always liked this hidden gem of his. Whether it’s his tribute to horror icons and monsters of the past, the story, or just the clay animation overall, I always find a way back to this one"

"Watched this with my partner back in October about a month after putting down our cat. It had us bawling our eyes out. "
