"Small town activism and a bully turned dancer. While the film did surprise me a few times (such as with the characterization of the uncle), I was overall underwhelmed by this film. Great dancing and Footloose is a fantastic song, but the plot just didn't keep my interest. I would still be interested in watching the original, though."
