The Fast and the Furious

"After far too long, I decided to finally watch it. I was absolutely blown away by how great this movie was. That could be because I'm comparing it directly to the last car movie I watched, Gone In Sixty Seconds, but wow this movie was a great watch. It's the complete antithesis of Sixty Seconds, with great cinematography, action, and heart. "

"Starting out with the original that I haven’t seen in 22 years(I think I’ve seen this but I honestly don’t remember). I couldn’t remember anything about this film at all. Just maybe a scene or two here in there. Anyway my whole point is to embark on a journey to watch the full Fast and Furious franchise 1-10. I’m one of the few Millennials left in this world who probably haven’t seen these films. Idk I love cars but this somehow fell to the waist side over the years. Then once I got so far behind I just said never mind. I know for sure I’ve seen Tokyo Drift but just like this film I don’t remember absolutely nothing about that plot or anything. So technically I guess I’ve seen maybe 1 or 2 but that’s it. So this should be fun. Part of the reason I’ve never watched this franchise is because as a kid I just wasn’t a Vin Diesel fan. Early 2000’s he was the new guy in everything and I think that caused to pay less attention . Anyway enough ranting this film was pure 2000’s nostalgia from the soundtrack everybody’s vernacular I really enjoyed it. Not much I wanna see because I have a long way to go."

"I loved the illegal street racing in this one and the next two movies, before the franchise changed it up. I admit, I'm late to the F&F family. I just watched all eleven movies in about 3 or 4 days. Complete binge and now going through withdrawals. I started watching them over again because I talked my daughter into watching them. We've gotten through 6 so far. I love action movies and these movies don't disappoint, but you have to start thinking of them as more Mission Impossible movies and less street racer movies, starting with the 4th movie. There are usually some elements of street racing or, at least, racing cars in pursuits and get-aways. But there is always lots of action!"
