"Let's start with the positives. I really enjoyed the parallel that was drawn between Elektra's childhood and that of Abby. That helped me to appreciate why Elektra was protecting this family. The actors playing Elektra, Stick, and Mark were giving solid performances. On the other hand, the action sequences were at best decent and, at worst, terrible. The whole tattoos as superpowers thing has definitely been done way too much. The pacing was somewhat strange. "
