It was a good read, it took me a while to finish because the main characters or the novel are so childish and petty and It was kind of hard to get through for me. Towards the end of the novel though, it started to get really good so I was able to fix it. I’ll definitely be reading the next two books in the series to see how everything is between the characters. It as well written for it to be from a 15-16 year olds perspective also.

I actually don’t really have anything to say about this book other than I definitely loved it. I love the way she portrays the characters and their beliefs. I love the way this perfectly articulates what a slow-burn romance is. I loveee the way this is kind of a friends with benefits novel, and how they eventually grow to be something more towards the end of the novel.

I loved this book! It took me a while to finish it because I wasn’t sure if I wanted to finish it because I knew there would be a plot twist. Although I expected a plot twist I wasn’t expecting a plot twist as big as this one. I didn’t like, however, that she forgave him so easily for what he did (if you read the book you’ll know), I feel like there should’ve maybe been a huge in person conversation between the two before she made the decision to forgive him. All in all it was a good quick read.

It was just as good as reading the first book ‘Hopeless’. I adored the way she portrayed Holders emotions and his reactions to Sky’s emotions. Definitely a good read, I could hardly even put it down! I guess I could actually say I lived this book and I loved the first one.🫶🏾

I loved this book! I’m not a Catholic myself so I can’t attest to the accuracy, but from the perspective of a non-religious person it was a really great plot. Although at some point in the novel he just becomes a priest who is trying to suppress his BDSM urges. I loved her portrayal of both characters feelings, and their true natures. Oh and I really loved the prologue of this novel it really captures you!

I loved the plot twists in this book! I especially loved the way she conveyed the trauma within Sky and the deep love between Sky and Holder. It was an all around good novel. I do however think the writing of the book could’ve been better, like a choice of different words in some areas, otherwise it’s really good.

Oh how I loved this book! It’s almost indescribable. The way Mia Sheridan conveys the love between Bree and Archer is absolutely riveting and it captures your mind, body, and soul. I will say that, me personally, I would’ve written certain parts a bit differently. Not saying that they weren’t written exceptionally well, I just think a few parts could be worded differently to convey a more realistic sense of love and personality. A very enthralling, intimate, and raw novel with a perfect ending. I literally couldn’t put this book down, I love how she portrayed the trauma of Miles’ past and how he heals and gets closure from his past towards the end of the novel. I especially loved how she kind of made it a friends with benefits/ slow-burn romance. She perfectly balanced the drama, trauma, and amount of romance in this novel and it is a little bit spicy if you know what I mean.

From the title of the book it almost gives you a different expectation of what the book will be about, but although it didn’t give what I thought it was going to give; it gave exactly what it intended to give with the plot of the novel. I absolutely loved this book and cannot wait for the sequel. It took me literally one day to finish this novel because I couldn’t put it down!
