As a sexual assault victim myself, the perfect way she described certain moments made me seriously have to put the book down and cry. It wasn’t a cliche, glorified version of trauma. It was realistic, frustrating, and beautifully made. Not for the sensitive. You will feel all kinds of feelings in this book

was forced to read it as a kid and expected to hate it, ended up loving it.
