"The series starring Don Johnson And Joshua Jackson is the nearly perfect adult Love Boat series remake that I have been looking for. I am enjoying the balance of the silliness, absurdity and just enough serious parts of the plot to make each episode fun to watch. Hopefully this series that now airs on Hulu and ABC will get a full season. The series is about the luxury cruise ship called Odyssey that caters to rich passengers. The captain is played by Don Johnson. Joshua Jackson is the ship doctor who cares for whatever ailment the rich may have. Two other actors round out the cast playing the roles of nurse and nurse practitioners. Each episode has a theme, and are usually about relationships of the crew, as well as subplots involving passengers of each cruise. This fun show is definitely going to be my "go-to" series of the week! "

"I had been looking forward to checking out this new show. So I watched S1 E1 9/26/24 and was not wowed... Also, I found the main character, Max the doctor, SUPER ANNOYING and not in a good way... I think they miscast imo. Not sure I'll continue. The only save for me would be good guest stars and more interesting storylines perhaps... It all felt a bit lackluster and something was OFF for me with this... I wanted to like it, but......."

"It’s like a soap opera that tries to be funny and witty. I love Joshua Jackson, he made the show bearable for me because I’m not a huge fan of shows that are like this. However, that’s just a personal preference and not a reflection on the show. I will say that I feel episodes are way too fast paced, you already have a love triangle on the pilot episode even. This show needs to slow down a bit. "

"They have one of the most beautiful sets I've ever seen. It's a shame the writing and acting is as bad as it is. It's good to put on as background noise, but if you sit down to watch it through be warned that most of the characters lack depth and the writing is about as shallow as it gets. "
