"I was the book nerd in high school who randomly found this super old Italian novel called The Decameron that was like, a thousand pages long, very bawdy, and I used to come to school and tell my classmates about the crazy stories the nobles were telling in it. Imagine my surprise, 25 years later, when Netflix makes a show about it!! They missed a lot of the funny stories that were being told while they were at the villa, but I think they did great with portraying the characters. "

"Not horrible.. it's good story telling based off 1353 Giovanni Boccaccio work about the times during the black plague about social classes, love, status, lies, secrets, id recommend it. It's not the best acting of all time but it's intriguing and interesting. I binged it in a day and half so it's not a long burn. "

"This was so surprisingly good. I don’t understand why it doesn’t have higher ratings yet. I just binged the whole season. It’s got something for everyone and all of the characters are so layered and complex. Manages to balance elements of comedy action and drama really well. There are fighting scenes if you’re into that, plenty of sex scenes, love stories, grief, loss, etc."
