After reluctantly returning to her tourist-trap hometown of Roswell, New Mexico, the daughter of undocumented immigrants discovers a shocking truth about her teenage crush who is now a police officer—he’s an alien who has kept his unearthly abilities hidden his entire life. She protects his secret as the two reconnect and begin to investigate his origins, but when a violent attack and long-standing government cover-up point to a greater alien presence on Earth, the politics of fear and hatred threaten to expose him and destroy their deepening romance.

"A remake of a sci-fi series of the late 90’s, that is a live action series of a book series called Roswell High. Taking place after the high school years compared to the books and first series, this show puts the characters into the jobs in life or still trying to find their footing. Worth watching as the characters begin to understand each other and find out more about the universe!"

"Gay and bisexual side characters were really refreshing to see in this re-imagining of the older Roswell tv show and Roswell HS novels. It felt like they brought some really relevant depth to the characters. Other plots (science vs religion, survivor’s guilt, and immigration) were really important in this series as well. So, highly recommend - so long as you don’t mind the politically-charged subplots that occur throughout."

"Honestly one of my most favorite shows ever. A great alien soap-opera. Totally addictive!! Also, as a queer person, the queer representation made me super emotional. I was so happy. And some of the actors are PHENOMENAL. Namely Michael Vlamis and Jeanine Mason. They did a fantastic job! I’m super sad it was canceled, but the fourth season finished in a satisfying spot, so it didn’t feel like it was cut short. I would totally recommend this show."
