"Even though the level of humor doesn't quite match Nathan for You, the secondhand discomfort is still there (that's supposed to be a positive), and the people and scenarios feel more intriguing in this series. You still get his bizarre and sometimes very clever solutions to seemingly complex problems. And of course the oddball personalities here and there that make it all worthwhile. I think the pacing could be a tad better. I don't really like they decided to make the family scenario overly drawn out and the main focus throughout season 1. But overall it's an interesting watch."

Although this time instead of going to businesses he's finding people who have a hard time saying something they need to and joining them in a recreation of the situation with actors. At least that's what the first episode is about. Honestly, this is probably a hard sell because the shows concept is so strange. Unless you know and like Nathan for You, then it's a monumentally easy sell. It's more of that."
