"Right of the bat extremely slow movie. I almost stopped watching because of it. But I didn’t the music and the sheep herding something about it made it hit different for me. The first half well don’t know how long the sheep part was but I really almost fell asleep. It was just so calming reminded me of my rdr2 days at times.
I don’t care for romance. But I do like what can be done with it. Like with this you see the main characters life fall apart because of it. As well as jakes but not as much.
I think I just wanted more drama but they gave a good amount without overdoing it. I especially liked the thanksgiving scenes with both actors.
Very country lots of horse riding, bull riding, drinking, and accents.
The main wife does a great job.
I liked it but it’s not what I wanted. Still definitely enjoyed it though."

"devastating. filming was perfectly done, will watch again. ending was abrupt but makes sense imo. if you don't get it, thats fine. as someone who grew up in the us west, this hits harder"

"Almost 20 years after its release, Brokeback Mountain still is an incredibly powerful and heart wenching movie that uses small gestures and outstanding acting to tell the story of Jack and Ennis' hopeless longing and slow death in a suffocating and hostile world. 10 out of 10"
