"This is perhaps the most underrated rom com in recent years. Winona and Keanu are so, so great together, and somehow make us root for truly intolerable characters. There are no two less suited for each other- miserable, negative, holier-than-though misanthropes. They cannot stop talking, including during was has to be the funniest sex scene I've ever seen. They hate everything, including themselves and each other. But it's also fair to say that they peel back each other's layers during this destination wedding trip- his brother, who is her ex fiancè, is the groom- and show each other their least obnoxious sides. The dialogue is borderline overwritten; these characters don't stop talking for a moment. It shouldn't work. But somehow, against all odds, it does. I CACKLED in glee. I rooted for Frank and Lindsay, when in real life i would probably hate them so, so much. This was an enjoyable weird satire of a rom com. It's sort of what happens when you blow up a traditional rom com, when you do everything you shouldn't, but put really great actors together. I love it. Highly recommend if you've got a questionable sense of humor. "
