"Probably one of my favourite movies "

"The book was horrible or at least the translation was I guess. The subject matter is interesting but the way the characters were written I couldn’t get any feeling of empathy for any of them. So it made for a very boring read. So when the movie came out, I was very pleasantly surprised at how good it is. The only reason I’m attracted to the book/ movie is because I like WWII human interest stories and this one was quite different from the usual. The movie gives the feel of a foreign film and it’s one that will leave you thinking about the subject matter for days."

"Wow. Hard to find the words to describe this. Perfectly paced. A slow unfolding of unexpected storyline. Not a light movie by any means. Brilliant. Sad. "

"I jumped into this movie not expecting it to be a historic peace. You get a different view of what happened in ww2. You cant help but enjoy Kate winslet's character and then feel betrayed by her story. I liked hearing a point of view that's different "
