"It just missed soo much. I felt like the movie wasn’t complete, I know Blake was a big part of her story but they solely focused on their relationship rather than her actual life."

"*Spoiler alert* I kept delaying this movie because of negative reviews by movie critics. Aside from the abrupt ending which made it feel that there was more to Amy’s story that perhaps her family didn’t want to share, this movie was really good, portraying how her heart was hurt on multiple occasions by the love of her life, pressures of paparazzis when all she wanted was not fame but to love and have a family, death of the closest person to her her Nan, struggling with bulimia, the somewhat disbelief she is an addict by her father who did not pressure his daughter to seek help despite several glaring evidence, all contributed to her downfall and eventually sudden death. I never knew Amy struggled so much. Her story was a sad one. A talent gone way too soon. But there is so much of her life story missing from this movie including her brother and mother who appeared once and that was it. Felt a bit rushed. "

"It was a relief and refreshing change to the Hollywood style. It was a unique movie with a limited artistic display in the film. The music was great and the actress was phenomenal. It was heartbreaking and comedic all in once. I highly recommend as it’s like looking at a singers life through their eyes. "
